Hello there, not to be a know it all but that is Rose Campion not Lambs Ear. Lambs ear flowers are quite different, Rose Campion does have the same type furry leaves though.
Pam, you are absolutely right! My siter in law grows these and they are from her garden. She always calls them Lambs Ears... so that's what we thought they were... I'll send her the link I found confirming the name Rose Campion... Thank you! Now I've learned yet another flower name!
Oh My Gosh, I can't believe you have Rose Campion! I have been looking and looking for some in my city and can't seem to find them! I don't really want to start it from seed, but it looks like I might have to. I was hoping the neighbor down the road would pass some my way, but she wasn't letting loose of hers. Yours are beautiful! So glad I found your site.
Hi Cynthia! Welcome! Rose Campion is a lovely flower isn't it? My sis in law grows them along her walkway down to the beach. They really brighten up that pathway... she passed some on to us and we now have them in our backyard! I hope you find some... Maybe a mail order catalog like white flower farms would have them? Happy Sunday!
