Sandy is Gone

Sandy made her way to the Plymouth, MA. shorelines yesterday bringing plenty of high winds ( up to 80 miles per hour at times) and rain. We ( along with thousands of other MA residents) lost power temporarily. We made it through with minimal preparation. Our local pizza place was even open for regular business hours so we had a hot meal for dinner last night. The power was back on this morning in time for me to make Pumpkin Spice Coffee!  We are grateful that Sandy went easy on us here in Plymouth and are  holding good thoughts for the recovery of our more southerly eastern seaboard neighbors in New York and New Jersey.

How did our east coast Dandelion House friends make out?
Wishing you all a safe and speedy recovery!

We were expecting severe storm here, but were very, very happy that it was much less than predicted! Sandy passed directly over us, but thankfully, she had lost her punch once she hit land.

glad you got through it unscathed. We just had high winds and rain here in Southern Ontario. One person was killed due to a falling sign.

I'm happy you guys weren't hit too hard. I'm in MO so I didn't have anything to worry about, but my thoughts were with you all in Sandy's path!

Glad you made it through the storm alright. We were hit pretty hard here on Long Island but I am very thankful to say that were lucky when looking at all the damage. Now we are trying to get back to some normal routine....which means I need to get back into the garden!!!
