Can't cha just picture her with a pretty feed sack pillow resting on the back?
I love the detail at the top don't you?
Even though this chair was already well worn, it now has a more charming time worn look and feel! I can see it fitting in to most any decor. It would be great inside as an accent chair for that pop of spring green or outside on a deck or porch. Maybe as one of a mixed set round an old farm table...
Where would you put this little cutie?
I've got a few more projects on the drying table that I'll share soon!

Adorable. I can imagine it in a kitchen with little ones kneeling on it to help make goodies.
So pretty :) Hubs doesn't understand the distressed look...so I don't get to use too much of that in my decor :( I live vacariously through others!
You did a wonderful job with the chair, Deborah Jean! You distressed it just perfectly in all the right spots. I went on a chair buying spree once and I used them everywhere...to hold plants. baskets, books, pillows, you name it! I wasn't brave like you, they are all painted white! lol!

Jane
Oh she is purdy ! I like the idea daisy gave here I can picture that for sure how wonderful ! Great job , will there be photos of where you decide to put this pretty chair ? Thanks for sharing . Have a good evening !
It's lovely ... with love Janice
Love the green! That chair could go anywhere...kitchen, living room, office, bedroom, outside on a porch - even in the garden!
I love green. I would put this on my patio with a cream colored herb pot.
I love the chair and the color you selected. We found some old chairs for $1 each at a garage sale and they were already worn too. The pink one stayed as is but I need a cushion; however, I have a perfect grey one that I want to give color. I like the paint you used so I'll check on that too.
(Sorry, had a misspelling in my last comment.) What I meant to say was, This is a fantastic piece and in my MOST favorite color to boot!
That chair looks great! I love that shade of green and how you distressed it. Very cute!
What a beautiful job! Thank you so much for sharing your talents Deb!
I would put it as part of a mixed set around a farm table in my kitchen. Is it for sale????
The chair is for sale in my booth...
