The Cottage Hens went out for a stroll in the backyard today. The two bossy girls Penny and Liza Jane scoped things out and the rest of the girls fell in line single file. I don't often let them out of the run to explore because of wondering neighborhood dogs but every now and then I spring them form the chicken coop for an airing off!
We all need that sometimes don't we?
