Thanks Boz. I will never forget that morning. I was getting dressed to go to work- in the office of a state law enforcement administrator when the first plane hit. My family gathered round the tv set for a few minutes as the media talked of a freak accident, and then the 2nd plane hit. My heart sank. Our office was busy that day and we all had heavy hearts, but in the weeks and months that followed I remember well the kindness and charity of America. Our little local fundraisers for the families, our officers that raced to help at Ground Zero. That terror attack united us as ONE people. For a moment in time, we were all just AMERICANS, no hyphens. I hate the act of terror that united us, but I sure pray for us to come together; united like that, again. May God bless America and all of her people.
