Happy Summer

  It's finally here! The day we've all been waiting for. The FIRST day of Summer!

Thank Goodness... Most of the hard work is done ( or should be ) in the garden and temps are on the rise! It's time to run for cover, find a cool place to relax and reap what you've sewn! That's just what I plan to do today right after I feed the chickens, flowers and fold the laundry!
 I'm ready  "for the lull of summer " to let my mind wonder and bring about new inspirations;
to just be.

How about you? Will you fill your summer time to the brim with many activities, or shy away from the crowds and steel away for some peace and quiet under the shade of a favorite tree, in your garden, stretch of beach, or a cabin in the woods? Or, will you go on the adventure of a lifetime?

Hoping for the days to be slow and quiet. A few camping trips here and there. But ready for and in need of some slow days.

Happy Summer!
I posted a picture of my roses too, great minds think alike :D!

Love the roses. Summer for us is our garden and camping. We add a little bit of fishing in there too.

That first photo is frame-worthy, Deborah. Just gorgeous. Enjoy the beautiful weather. We are having very muggy, hot weather in Ontario right now. Thunder-storms are on their way. Hugs, Deb

Hey Michelle! Sounds like great fun and relaxing too! We used to camp a lot in the Sierra Nevada's many moons ago...!

Yeh for summer! We EVEN have sunny skies today :)

As for my summer? Hopefully a little bit of relaxation, a bit of gardening and a lot of wedding planning/prepping capping it off with the actual wedding!

I like your pictures. Our summer is away from routine, but we are busy doing gardening and 4-H projects.

Your photos definitely say summer. It's been so hot and rainy here. My garden is starting to look like a jungle and not in a good way...

And happy summer to you:) We hope to get lots done around the farm this summer and many jars of produce canned before fall. This week we've been canning pickles and zucchini salsa!

I really like your new blog *look*.

Blessings,

Sherry
