It's so easy to forget about our skin health while focusing on everyday matters of homemaking and daydreaming about garden plans all winter. Meanwhile our lips are chapped, our skin can begin to look as if the dinosaur age has returned and we start to feel parched from so many hours spent indoors. Rebecca shared a recipe for Homemade Lip Balm using all natural products,

enlightens us on the 40 INGENIOUS USES uses for salt around the homestead and

Another post on how to make a speedy, yet nourishing breakfast for our children and finally a wonderful thought-provoking article by a guest author at NMN on homeschooling history. A home spa day sounds wonderful. My daughter is so good at this. She makes her own lip balm and face masks. I am working on a small backyard deck with a raised bed garden so I can grow all kinds of herbs and have them right outside the kitchen to use fresh.
